So who is going to the first driver to replaced this year?

Will Schumi come back to the Ferrari team to replace Massa or will Piquet oust Fisi / Kovi, Ralf must be getting worried too?

But who else is out there to jump back in to the circus...Villeneuve maybe?

Despite my personal opinion on ralf and fisico, which is very clear from previous posts, I'd say:

Heikki.

The trouble with the rat-race is that even if you win, you're still a rat.

Heikki. despite all the hype on how he would destroy Fisico, he's still behind him and altough its too early to judge I feel if this trend continues, Nelsinho could soon be on the race seat. If that would be the right thing to do is another discussion though...

I have a nice list -

Ralf
Fisico or Heikki (Probably Heikki)
Barrichello
Scott Speed (Probably a test driver till Tonio is transferred to Red Bull)

I really don't get why people even consider possibility of Heikki being fired.

He is a driver from RDD, extremely talent rookie with only two races behind him in a crappy car which had mechanical problems due to fuel pump failure in both races. So what did Heikki do wrong and how can ANY driver be judged from a race or two?

Unlike him Fisichella and Ralf have over 100 races behind them with 10 years in F1 and not much to show off with.

I agree with you manchild.

But I think the reason people are disappointed with his performance so far, is that everyone had high expectations of him.

Flavio put alot of pressure on Heikki even before he entered F1, mouthing off that he was the next Alonso (I suppose to deflect any criticism that the team would suffer after Alonso). So our expectations of him was that he would destroy Fisichella just as Alonso did. That has happened yet.

But I think, given more time, he might just do that.

hekki is very talanted driver.
yes it is for the fact that there is a lot of pressure put on him but we have to take in consideration that the renault car is just not performing and compared to the last 2 renault car's this one is no match for the front runners.

i see ralf and david soon to be replaced

I think Heikki will stay.

But I'd be surprised if anyone signed Ralf or Rubens again for 2008. Nothing against Rubens, he's had some great races in his time.
