I was wondering if there wasn't any regulations and restrictions, how quick can an F1 car become? Like all technologies to date together in one car.
And can that car run around Monte Carlo under a minute?
G-suits anyone?anthonyrogan wrote:Let's see.. ground effect with skirts, active suspension, double chassis, moveable wings, unlimited 3000 cc turbo engines by now pushing 2000bhp, blown diffusers, wider tyres, all on the same vehicle would probably lower lap times by about 15 sec on average.
Unfortunately the drivers would not be able to cope. Neither would the tracks.
G-suits don't work for lateral motion nearly as well as they do vertical. They are made to keep blood form pooling in your legs wont do much good in a side load.n smikle wrote:G-suits anyone?anthonyrogan wrote:Let's see.. ground effect with skirts, active suspension, double chassis, moveable wings, unlimited 3000 cc turbo engines by now pushing 2000bhp, blown diffusers, wider tyres, all on the same vehicle would probably lower lap times by about 15 sec on average.

Don't forget suction fan on the back and double deckers, that would be just mental. Cars could probably rip your head off during cornering lol.anthonyrogan wrote:Let's see.. ground effect with skirts, active suspension, double chassis, moveable wings, unlimited 1500 cc turbo engines by now pushing 2000bhp, blown diffusers, wider tyres, all on the same vehicle would probably lower lap times by about 15 sec on average.

"just" make the cockpit tilt like a Carvertathan wrote:I know, how about a new g-suit that squeezes one side of your skull with a few hundred pounds of force. A hydraulic ram maybe. Should be ok.
Is this going to turn into the Redbull x1 thread now?
