Of course that Brabham had the infamous Alfa flat-12, those air boxes would have been feeding straight into the intakes rather than splitting the air flow in a central air box. Is that a testing pic? I've never seen that before.

No, I don't think it is. It looks like the Lotus 79 of 1979. it didn't acheive a single win that year haveing taken the championship in '78.
