Electric DSR??

Is it possible/legal to have an electric d sports racer? I presume the batteries are too heavy to make a full electric one. Is there anything in the rules preventing something like a KERS system?

I think you're better off asking that question on the DSR Forum where there's a couple of threads on electric cars. Given that DSRs are usually run by private entrants with modest budgets, the chances of someone developing a reliable KERS that actually delivers a lap time are not good.
