Well, that's slightly odd considering they were going to part ways last season.........

Does Alonso (and his fan base) need that much reassurance?
It's called "Return on Investment"
Well, the essential truth is that it hasn't brought them any championships and it's severely hampered their constructors' position. I'm afraid the reality is beginning to bite hard at Ferrari because no one can fund their constructors' position for very much longer.
Very true, the deal may have paid off if their car was faster (=> at least one or two titles), but because it wasn't, possibly also due to the high investment for Alonso, they have to pet their diva even more than before (don't take this wrong, he is the fastest driver on the grid in my opinion). I still believe that they picked up Kimi because they see Fred leaving at the end of this season, and can pick up Hulk or maybe even Bianci behind Kimi - dare I add Sebto this mix. Kimi is happy to have an income for a year, and simply has to wait until Fred is gone. BUT, if that was Stefano's plan, then Kimi could be in for a surprise...

Show me proof. You said the same thing last year and you were wrong. Do you ever get tired of bashing Ferrari? You even argued with DaveW about their front suspension. Do you know who DaveW is? He is THE SUSPENSION GURU in the UK racing scene.

Yeah sorry. This url http://www.omnicorse.it/magazine/37803/ ... er-reagire says they're gonna have major engine mods for Canada, among other things, that all/some are being tested this week in Spain. ferrari-cosa-manca-alla-squadra is more less what's wrong with the team.

It's very well known Ferrari and Alonso had a major falling out around the time of the Hungarian Grandprix last year (you didn't need to be Einstein to see it) when Alonso was trying to engineer a move to Red Bull and with the comments he made. Hulkenberg was all set to go there but because Ferrari didn't know if Alonso would be off Raikkonen was actually signed as his replacement. In the end it proved to be too difficult for Ferrari and Alonso to untangle their commercial commitments.

Alonso will be out of there one way or another by the end of the season.

Is the wind tunnel still not correlating?

2ndly - Someone correct me if I'm wrong...I think they're allowed to run whatever they want in testing. I doudt they would put even 1 km on an engine or transmission that they have to use for either Free practice or racing.

I can't see how the wind tunnel isn't correlating .... They've been doing live testing once a month on average since this year began. Kind of hard to get out of sync. Heck they're out there again to today with sensors checking the diffuser.

Just because you run testing equipment, doesnt mean you have wind tunnel correlation issues. Other teams have those sensors attached as well.

How do you know whether the tunnel is giving correct results or not if you don't measure the way the air is moving around the car?

I don't. I'M just saying that with all the testing, they are able to confirm as they go along. As opposed to not knowing till it's too late.

How do you think they confirm that?

I think you are agreeing with each other. Look up the page and you'll see the mix up started when a comment from mum about wind tunnel correlation was incorrectly attributed to diffuser.

Also mun didn't state that there are problems with the wind tunnel, he raised the question and everyone else read it as an accusation. Admittedly it was a "have you stopped beating your wife question" so I'm not surprised by the responses.
