How do you think they confirm that?

Hint: The answer is "With the pitot tube rakes all over the car".
Agreed. I showed that in the picture up above.

Rumor has it that Jean Jacques His is now heading to Ferrari F1 Power Unit department. To be confirmed or rejected later.

Thinking out loud here.....
With a B-spec Ferrari expected for Montreal and Stefano Domenicali Departure. I wonder if they've scraped the F14t Chassis and are brining in a James Allison Design? That James Allison design was probably initially going to be next years car. So instead of work on a lame duck, it would make sense to me to bring in next years car and spend this years money on that and end the year with that car. It makes sense why Luca was calling all the suppliers ... Hey Suppliers...Hit the brakes on what ever you are building and poof here you go with new plans. It is 9 weeks between Bahrain and Canada. I think that's about the amount of time to do all that. I know they are limited to what they can do with regards to the engine but there is no such limit on everything else.

Noteice I've said F1 Power Unit - I know he works at the road car department. The person who is responsible for head of the engine and electronics at Ferrari F1, Luca Marmorini, is not available for comment, however. This is certainly a sign that he may be on his way out of the role.

That would make sense as a long shot plan to retain Alonso. If, and I think that's a pretty big if, that 9 week spin could be done, and was done, and if that car was beastly out of the box and gave Alonso a serious shot at the title, or at least end the year winning & 2nd, they'd keep him me thinks. But that's a long shot plan in many ways, tho at this point, they've little more to lose. Without insane development Fred's out.

Marmorini out of his role you mean ?? and His would be his replacement ?

All-new car designed by Allison? Nice to think so, but highly unlikely, IMHO. There just hasn't been time for such a project to be completed. We'll see Allison influence on next year's car and possibly on iterations of the current design.

J-J His? IIRC, he was on the F1 engine team back in the V12 days. Gilles Simon and Marmorini worked together at one point, then Marmorini left (rumored to be unhappy that he was not Number One). Simon left, then Marmorini returned. Anyone have better memory than me? Was His at Ferrari during the turbo days?

IIRC (correct me if I'm wrong) Martinelli managed the engine dept, but played little/no role in actual design. He is credited with processes and quality control measures that led to excellent reliability.

According to AMUS the difference between Ferrari and Mercedes/Red Bull increased in Barcelona. It is not due to track characteristics, but because the upgrades the team have brought. Michael Schmidt says that Ferrari's upgrade package was not smaller than Mercedes and Red Bull, but the new parts didn't materialised in the step performance that was expected fom the simulator and wind tunnel. The gap performance increased by half a second compared to Mercedes and Red Bull.

I have no clue what he has been doing. He has been there since Sept. If he was targeted to build the 2015 from the get go....You can get alot done in 9 months.
