You don't need so many adjectives: it's the most powerful engine ever, period.

There is one at the Air & Space Museum in Washington: I spent a lot of time watching it.

We spoke about it ages ago, I can't remember why.

It's not the safest rocket engine: this award probably goes to the rubber and gas engine of Spaceship One.

It's not the most efficient one, either: this goes to the aerospike.

The F-1 was safe in the fact that in all flights it worked correctly without catastrophy. But if one had ever failed in flight, it would have totally destroyed the flight vehicle. It was a huge, monstrous brute, now a dinosaur, having done it's job and rightly retired.

may be we can enlarge the fuselage and bcoz the X-33 has a flat fuselage, pretty huge amount of fuel can be stored, & then we can have blisters over it for more fuel :idea: ....just like in the F15 Eagle with weapons fully loaded..of course the flight duration ll be very short but then it ll be worth the speed :wink:
