Well, nothing in this race is going to help the relationship. Hamilton is definitely going to have to win Abu Double now.

Why do people think this? Hamilton has already shown he can win 4 races on the trot, he only has to win 3 this time to get back on par.

I think if i was lewis id request no data sharing. It seems to me nico feeds of lewis natural talent. I have no doubt if nico couldnt see or be told what lewis is doing and copy, he would stand no chance

It would help but with 12 races left, 325 points available, 22 points difference is not big.

If I was Lewis I'd be requesting to be allowed to run the engine mapping as he wants and not to share data with Nico's side of the garage. I'd also be requesting that the team insist on fairness when it comes to...oh I don't know....gaining 0.5 seconds by cutting a chicane after locking up. I'm sorry, but if Nico had made the chicane then he would have had to slow so much that Lewis would have passed...
Favourite driver: Lando Norris
Favourite team: McLaren

Turned down the chance to meet Vettel at Silverstone in 2007. He was a test driver at the time and I didn't think it was worth queuing!! 🤦🏻‍♂️

I think the data sharing will be over once the constructors is wrapped up. Today's result pushes that date back by at least one race.

If Lewis doesn't win the double, then he needs to win 8 or the 11 others, assuming Nico wins the other 3 and the double. His window gets smaller with every race. And if he DNFs while Nico wins, he's basically done.

Well, natural talent did not help today with the brakes...;)
There are radios from both of them asking exactly what the other one is doing. They profit both of it and the main thing is: The team profits from it.

He gave everything and this is the result, always bad luck. Rosberg cuts a chicane, gains time and got away with it. He has a brake failure. If Lewis wins this championship, he fully deserved it.

Data sharing benefit both side of the garbage its not just Nico using Lewis data or set up.

IMO I think Rosberg benefits more from the data sharing, but then I can't prove it obviously.

I'm loving the racing this year but if someone loses the championship because of mechanical failures it will be a little disappointing.

I still can't believe no action was taken. Hamilton was about to overtake him, he gained a clear advantage and Hamilton's engineer told him to hold station until word came from RC. Even with that, he still caught Rosberg again and again.

This race has left me with a bad feeling. I don't want to believe it, but I am beginning to wonder if racism could be a factor in this.

There have been moments in his career where Hamilton has been an unlikable person. I think its the competitiveness that drives any successful sportsperson or businessperson. He's done or said things in the heat of the moment that people have latched onto and from there, they've grown to dislike the person as a whole. This is happening to Nico now. He's never been in such a strong position and he's doing some things on the track (like he has in the past) that make people think poorly of him.

Personally, there are things about both of them that I think are likable, and I think they both leave a lot of it on the track. Hamilton, as a prior champion has more of the backlash, but Nico is finding that being a leader comes with a lot of pain. A lot of jealousy, a lot of resentment that their favourite driver or team is losing out, or simply the British habit of extolling the virtues of a sportsperson, until they show humanity, then we knock them down hard.

I think we should just let them race and not try to overanalyse the occasional error or poor judgement.
