It may have been a different story without that great start, though. It's not like Hamilton had to scythe through the field - he pretty much was on Rosberg's tail by lap 2. Not to say that it wasn't a tremendous start, however.
So? A great start doesn't count these days? He did a great job.

I'm just pissed about the 2 horrible pitstops Lewis got.

yup fantastic opening lap indeed, otherwise he would have struggled to bear Bottas

So many Lockups from Rosberg while he is being chased by Hamilton it will be a matter of time when the tables are turned.

Rosberg though under constant pressure to perform, is playing a better mental game in qualifying and he's also consistently getting better pitstops. Not to mention tons of luck.

Anywhoo.. It is good signs for Hamilton now. He is a smidgen faster and is saving more tyres and fuel. After Mercedes wins the WCC then Drivers will be free to use the engine maps. Good news for Ham. He can finally use that 4kg of fuel that he has in Hand over Nico. Exciting times ahead! 29 points is nothing.
Is this the wishful thinking thread?

Lewis was faster again, and would have won if it wasn't for the poor pitstops.

Convenient slow pit stop for Hamilton again when an identical stop to Rosberg ment he would have jumped all of them..

They´ll have their German champion if they keep this up.
And once again Hamilton uses less fuel but get put on the same engine mode as Rosberg until the end of the race.

Were you complaining in Canada? Or making accusations of favoritism?

Do you have the actual pit stop time and not driver/pit crew times.

Hamilton may be the best, but his luck is the worst.

Apparently is someone else´s fault he´s not actually the best.

Ham would have jumped Ros with a perfect pitstop? Well the pitstop went wrong, because Ham missed the right point and was stopping too far away from the crew.
So you mean he did not only mess up the Q on Saturday, but also the race with not being able to stop at the right point? :?:

Toto apparently said that Lewis missed his mark on the first stop which delayed his stop as the crew had to follow him.
On the second stop there was some issue with one of the front brakes (I think it was front left) which meant that the crew had to be extra careful there.

So no times then? Ok.

What times do you need?
- LH = Pitstop time = pitlane + quick but slovenly parking by Hamilton + delay because of that + wheel change
- NR = Pitstop time = pitlane + slower but nice and tidy parking by Rosberg + no delay + wheel change
Now you want to separate that to prove something? Who cares about the second stop, it didn't matter, he should be happy he went in first.

BTW Hamilton should be glad Rosberg wasn't leading this race from pole, very probable without yellows he himself caused, some selective ifs and buts as usual. I think Merc might be slightly annoyed with LH when they have to respond to silly "boo pitstops were slow I lost my win" with - missing the mark was your fault.

Pit stop times as in what time it takes for the team to do their job. Stationary time if you will.

Will update as i go through the races. The two lines on Rosberg in Malaysia was FOM not showing his stationary times for some reason, they showed Vettel and Hamilton´s prior and after his stops.

2 3.8 -
3 2.8 -
