For all we know that 'fugly' (man I hate that term) car with its relatively measley engine could be quite possible of reaching the quoted speeds and just perhaps those odd aerodynamics make such a speed much more easily attainable.
Don't be so close minded, sure its different but wait to see its performance and function before you condemn it.
