He was the fastest guy on track for a big portion (2-3 tenths on everyone) of the race but because his messed up start he blew his tires too early.

Big portion? 2 laps maybe. He was 1/10 faster than lor on few occasions but never faster than dani. Then he dropped off completely.

There was only 1 lap where he was thousandths faster than Pedrosa, he never had the pace

Save? He had already crashed!! :o :o

I remember once that Doohan tryed a similar save, but coudn´t. I thought "nice try, but that´s not possible".

Marquez proving me wrong... again. This guy is unbeliveble =D>

So now Alpinestars should put some protectors on his shoulders too, elbows were not enough for him

He didn't save it

https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=xKHTwpTx61k

I think they threw a few pictures together to suggest he did, unless of course those pictures are another run at the same corner, however the characteristic tyre marks suggest the first 2 pictures are from the fall, and the third picture is another attempt which he managed to save. Taken together it makes him look like a superhuman, but as far as I can tell, they are two separate incidents...

Sorry but that´s a different incident. Look at the distance to the inner kerbs, the save is some meters far from it, can´t be seen but there´s some space between driver and kerbs when the bike slides. But the video incident show he´s almost over the kerbs at that point

I'm pretty sure it is the same one, but it hardly matters.

Nope, the video is from the first test before the Brno GP. 16.07.2014

I´m completely sure it´s not the same one. Watch the video, when the bike slides, the helmet is around white line vertical.

On the save the helmet is more than 1m inside the white line. Can´t be the same

Edit: another proof it´s not the same one. Watch the bottom of the pictures, you can see some metallic structure you cannot see on the video because they´re covered green

And another one, the inner kerbs on the video is standard kerbs, on the picture (third) you can see they added another kerbs, don´t know the name, one of those higher than standard kerbs so there´re actually two kerbs while on the video there´s only one

Edit2: probably not even same corner

Look in the back, in the outer edge of the track: Fence, fence, white, red, bag, bag, bag. Pics 1 and 2 are as a minimum out of sequence, and in pic 3, he has magically lifted himself in almost no space. This is clearly a mix and match of pics.

Edit: nevermind, I was wrong, see below.

Rivals, not enemies.
