.. the complete turn around - from implacable Honda domination..
.. to a rare Rossi win/Yam I-2, is surely worthy of comment?
As I remarked - for a young gun, Marky Mark - sure takes things in his stride.. ..put him on a Ducati..

Lets settle it, the Honda was marginally the quickest bike all year (about 1%) and now Yamaha have developed their SSG for both up and down shifts that the gap is even smaller. The difference between them is the riders.
Marc is head and shoulders above the others so thats why he and not the Honda has dominated.

At Misano, there wasn't much dry track running so it's hard to gauge the gap. Great to see Rossi winning a race, he's really worked hard for it this year!

Check out the Moto GP site..
..Rossi's winning average speed was significantly slower than the quickest Yamaha & Honda times in 2013..
In how many other races this year - have the Hondas been slower - than last, in identical race day conditions?

Caramello's stated purpose is to promote "THE SHOW" in Moto GP ,as per NASCAR,
& how better than for a Rossi win - breaking the Honda victory stranglehold in the 'Marco Simoncelli' memorial race..
( who was, sadly, killed by Rossi in a racing incident) .. & super popular at their home track, naturally..

The crowds loved seeing the passionate embrace given by Rossi - to his long-time squeeze in victory lane - for sure..

It DID come to pass.. ..almost like.. a miracle.. ..or Hollywood.. or something..
"Well, we knocked the bastard off!"

Ed Hilary on being 1st to top Mt Everest,
(& 1st to do a surface traverse across Antarctica,
in good Kiwi style - riding a Massey Ferguson farm
tractor - with a few extemporised mod's to hack the task).

J.A.W., please stop hanging stubbornly on this. You've been asked several times now. There's NO compromising for the show; these are all highly competitive teams all only settling for the highest possible position. You may only reopen this if you have solid proof with a source, otherwise the speculation and far fetched straw pulling ends here. Last warning.

Ducati bringing a new bike this weekend, I'm hoping we see a step forward, any improvement would be great they already look like they have made a step with this years bike.

Man, I'm glad to see something else than a honda or yamaha up the front, even if only in fps and Q. I really hope ducati can bring something special to this and future events.

Lol, thankfully not the new model.

Commentary are saying that Barbera got burnt with that fire under his armpits, they said he had to bailoff the bike but didn't quite get off in time which implies it caught fire when he was Riding.

Supposedly the new ducatis still have the understeer problem, how can they not have fixed this by now.

Edit - confirmed it bust into flames when he was on the bike.

Young Marquez apparently learned from his older brother, drives into Miller, takes him out and takes over the championship lead :x

What a race... . So bizarre.

Crutchlow deserves a raceban in my eyes; looked to me like he was trying a P.I.T. manoeuvre on Espargaro.

Real shame Rossi was out, I think he could have won that race.

I have only seen it once, but from first view it didn't look that bad, I've seen MM do worse
