I agree 3 car teams make sense, and filling that position with a rookie / salary capped driver would be the best way forward. Should they be awarded Championship points etc? In your proposal of bigger teams having secondary B teams, did it occur that costs would be the same as today, and the small teams would die anyways?
3 car teams make alot of sense in the interim, and while they race, F1 can work on a plan to attract other teams wishing to enter on a more stable basis.
In the small teams i include Williams and Force India which would eventually die if all they had to play was who doesn't finish last, in an F1 that has 12 factory cars.FoxHound wrote:

B teams have stability, like STR they would become contructors in their own right, it's not some temporary solution that no one knows when it ends and can have catastrophic consequences while active.
