I will touhgt that Nasr would get a drive because of his big sponsors. I think Grosjean's seat at Lotus isn't a shoe in. I can see Nasr at Sauber or Lotus next year. What happened to the roebels of Sirotkin, Sauber is promising a lot of drivers seats and then sell them to the highest bidder that can actually write over the bank cheque. 2nd driver at Sauber could be Guitterez, Nasr, Sirotkin, Chilton and V/D Garde. The guys who gets the seat has the biggest sponsor deal, Sauber have made i pretty clear with announcement of Ericsson that talent isn't their main concern but money is.

But I can't imagine Sauber ditching Esteban 1 year before the MexicanGP, with Claro and Telmax as big sponsors at the moment.

Irvine:"If you don't have a good car you can't win it, unless you are Michael or Senna. Lots of guys won in Adrian Newey's cars, big deal. Adrian is the real genius out there, there is Senna, there is Michael and there is Newey. They were the three great talents."

Once again... NO!

Third cars, if used, are non scoring. That's in the rules. Alonso will not drive a third car, Alonso is not waiting to join a 3 car Merc super team.

Van Der Garde has already signed according to AMuS. Sutil will be paid off.

The rules on 3 cars haven't been released yet so hold your horses. Also the most logical would be that the 3rd car won't be eligible for WCC points but could score WDC points.

I think that is just the speed up the process and to get even more sponsor money from other drivers potentially. If they bring out this message on purpose i can imagine that other drivers will push their managers and sponsors to get a bigger deal to get that potential Sauber seat. I don't think V/D Garde is a done deal. Sauber in the past had sort of announced Sirotkin and we haven't seen him so far. It's a part of the game, so that Sauber gets the biggest sponsor deal possible.

Nah, Van Der Garde is 100% done deal. There were even discussions to get him into the car after the Summer break.

That make sense to me, what would be the motivation to drive and not score points as driver, junior or senior. I agree points for the team would be unfear but on personal level it is fair to get the points, imaging the third driver with a third car wins most of the races and he doesn't have the chance to win the drivers championship, it would be a total joke

the simple way to do it is the car that finishes 3rd on raceday doesnt score -so if alonso did go to mercedes -if in australian gp Hamilton first ,rosberg second and alonso 3rd -alonso doesnt score,if at next gp- alonso first ,rosberg second and hamilton 3rd-hamilton doesnt score and so through out the year-could make for a super championship

Sutil looked very downbeat after the race ..and it seemed just fitting checo had pushed him out of the race..this is how a driver looks like when he just realised he will not be in F1 next year..On the other hand it is a bit odd sutil finds suddenly real speed to make it into Q3 ..i think a formula 1 driver should leave no doubt he is giving it everything all the time ..with Adrian i have my doubts.

Latest crazy Rumor is that Flavio is trying to buy Lotus with Santander money and Alonso will be joining him and will help bring Ferrari engines to the team.

Sounds about right. Will definitely win Fernando a 3rd championship. Much safer than Mclaren-Honda and I mean, it's so obvious!
