McLaren must have a good reason for doing this - Alonso dragging things out etc. They would not do this as it is also a distraction for the entire team.

Or, they are dragging this out as long as possible to generate maximum publicity, and they are all in it together !!!

Mclaren 3 - car team. Alonso, Button, and Magnussen in the no-points scoring car [essentially a live test car. come to think of it....damn. a 3rd car that wouldnt score points is the IDEAL way to jump around the test ban. ]

I can't imagine kimi accepting a no-points scoring car and being a race participating development driver...
