Formula 35 Update!!

Post

Some of you will remember I created a thread whilst I was in the design stages of my F35 car. Well its now finally in the testing stages!!

The rules for the for the series changed rather dramatically at the end of the last season banning fully enclosed cars and I managed to get the bodywork form an old project I headed up back in 2002.

Anyway as well as a video I have an aerodynamics question as well, should I see continue putting the car on the diet i have been recently and lose potentially up to about 500g OR would i be better off updating the aero by fairing in the roll bar like this...

or leave it how it is...

and heres the video..

I'd suggest you get yourself fit as there's nothing you can physically do which won't be improved by being at the peak of health.

Do Tesco allow you to use their car park? I scored a moral victory over the new local store by getting myself free cheese and kicked out (too seperate incidents) within a week of them opening. Let me tell you, they don't half hire some dumbasses there.

Well.. as I work there they were more than happy to allow me use of the car park, don't worry though im not offended I've recently got a 4 yr apprenticeship at ASGB a coachbuilding company that does a lot of stuff for Procar including the new Ferrari Hospitality vehicle! but until then I've got 2 weeks with a few shifts at TESCO in the mean time.

So as i'm still only part time I want to get "Ruby" as competitive as possible! If everything goes according to plan, there have been a few logistical issues, I should be racing at Rockingham next tuesday, and because I know that the chassis works I want to see how much further i could push the aero side of things.

Any suggestions??
