US Racing & Auto Industry Perspectives

Post

Some of our international forum members probably wonder what the US perspective on automotive corporations, models, future developements, interests, manufacturing and racing is from time to time. What are they thinking? What are they doing? How are they evolving? What's happening in North American markets and what is the direction of US legislative initatives? What are US opinions on international race series and F1? What's happening in US race series? Here are 2 sites that offer some insight - although many other sites and viewpoints exist; I follow these for inside industry viewpoints.

Covers both US and Worldwide subjects.

Written by a US industry insider. This is the most specific, detailed and interesting of the two sites. Real information from a desk at the Big 3 - all things racing and automotive.

Thanks for the

links ... for the NA open wheel racing point of view, I read Gordon Kirby's "The way it is" column/blog/whatchamacallit. Some true gems can be found there, Mario Illien's (of Ilmor) and Bruce Wood's (of Cosworth) interviews recent examples among others. Kirby's "Inside Track" feature can also be found on numerous websites, official ChampCar website included.
