Hope he does well for McLaren. I follow GT3. Seems like ESPN are buying up more and more races though, which makes them unavailable on the YouTube channel. Sucks. Having a tv license, paying for sky tv, an internet connection and they expect payment for another channel to watch GT racing.

Must say i'm a bit biased on Bruno. Offcourse he isn't '100% senna', he's a Lalli, but i find that a cheap shot imho. Come on, he looks just like him. He's got to 'compete' against arguably the best and most appreciated F1 driver in history. The bias is however on really being able to judge how he faired. On one level i'd say he had a chance @ Lotus, on the other hand, he entered halfway through and had just 8 races with them, did manage to grab 2 points.
Think he could've done better though. HRT, well, wasn't much to be achieved there. Williams, bit like lotus, i think Williams was his first fair chance to 'prove' himself, but missing friday tests imho is quite hurtfull, especially since his teammate didn't get the same treatment.

What i've always wondered 'what if' Ross did not dump him for barrichello (or JB for that matter)? What if he had that 2009 Brawn under his belt and would he have managed to become WDC with it? Offcourse it's a what if, but how would we have looked at him?

Either way, what i think Ayrton's biggest 'benefit' and likewise Bruno's biggest handicap is the difference in 'drive'.
Ayrton was completely focused, completely driven to win. That's all that mattered, and his focus was all on that.
That was his life, that was his goal, that was his focus. Being a great guy and all the things he did aside made him the 'uberlegend'.
Bruno however seems to radiate what he is 'The Nephew'. The nephew that can drive, and perhaps arguably, quite well. Hell, in his short stint before F1 taking into account his 'retiring period' is impressive. But it always looked like he missed that 'drive'. He had much fun and much joy, More like he did it for fun instead of his nr.1 main goal being F1 champion and nothing else would suffice, that mentality is what his uncle possessed.

Either way, I think his F1 career is permanently over [though Grosjean got a second chance too]. But i'm hoping he can do a good job elsewhere.

I just really would love to see THAT helmet in a red-white NEW Mclaren.
