Fair enough Hamilton was impeded but the WC points penalty seems contreversial.

no. I think the matter could have been handled internally within mclaren. I doubt that the hold-up violated any regulations. however it does raise a number of questions regarding such instances in qualification...

Im further confused... since mclaren wont take any points, does that mean that the drivers wont take any as well? or are the points just not transferable to the constructors championship?
