Maybe you would like to wait with the funeral and read scarbs' remarks in the espionage thread.

I think calm down everyone, this is fake news. Mosley and co might have sold their souls to devil long time ago, they're not stupid!

If they offer once again a title to Ferrari in a such disgracefull manner, they know F1 is done for good! And F1 is their busyness, their very money!
I think most press agency are doing sensational journalism, let's wait for an official statement of FIA.

If such a decision was taken, only fans of Ferrari would continue to watch F1 (well, only the most shamefull ones!) and they might be many, they are not enough to save F1.

Either way it's a crappy bandwagon, probably lashed up using sensitive data from Ferrari.

Not wanting

to add insult to injury, but I just have to note that Douglas Adams, at least, might find (note the deliberate present tense) some irony in someone ripping off one of his book titles to comment on an espionage issue. Sometimes it's worth to bear in mind that in the grand scheme of things, our little planet has been described as "Mostly Harmless".

Drama drama drama guys... you'll be back! i heard a quote by ron dennis no less that the progression of F! ebbs and Flows. I will keep watching it till they stop showing it! And it'll take alot more than some political crap and people veiwing the sport as more boardroom than garage to make me stop watching cause i dont follow the sport for political crap, i follow it for the sme reason i come here, for how technically beautiful the sport is. my only gripe with the sport is that they dont say to engineers: 'here's a box, if your car fits in it can race' i know for saftey reasons that is not gonna happen but i want to see what the huge brain power behind this sport can do. Precicely, i want it to be evident in the cars.

pRo, I say to you the same I posted in Manchild's retirement of the forum: no.

C'mon, what are you thinking? Crabbia is right.

You cannot do that. We need you.

If Max Mosley can make you retire, maybe we can make you come back. Are we less than FIA? Do we think like "them"?

Go to a party and dance a little, drink something, kick some rocks, yell to the night, whatever, check how you feel then and return.

Besides, if you don't come back, I will post many, many, many times how Montoya drives better than Kimi... and nobody will contradict me... muahahahaha!

Hang on to your towel pRo, and remember the most important part... Don't Panic.
Today was a dark day, one of the worse I have ever experienced. But in awhile, the sun will shine, animals will frolic, and we can all enjoy the racing.

The Forum wouldn't be much fun...and certainly not as informative - without a PRO :D

I'm sure we both made our own decision and neither jumped on anyone elses wagon.

I'd like to say I won't be leaving the forum, cause it has many great users who make some brilliant posts. But I know I'd just be kidding myself (and you). Once I lose interest in something, there's no use hanging around.

I appreciate your words and the petition, but I just lost interest. I will miss your posts, I learned so much from them. I already decided to do what you said before you said it and had a blast on friday. It was a strange day. I didn't even check when the practice sessions were on and didn't miss them a bit. Saturday was even stranger, I was by the TV during qualifying, but didn't bother to change the channel and watched some cartoon. On sunday I still had no interest towards F1 and decided to watch the 250cc race instead. I've followed Mika Kallio for years, so it's nothing new. His bike failed after few laps so I thought I'll watch the F1 race which had started some 20 mins ago. It felt boring, my heart rate didn't go up at all and it was just very uninteresting. I actually fell asleep after few laps.

It has never happened before. Not even on the "night" races (our nighttime). I'll never forget the first race I saw live in 1973 in Sweden. Fell in love with the cars and the sport. It was an adventure of it's own trying to find info about them at that time. Local media didn't even mention them and you couldn't just google it up. Next year we had a finnish driver in a finnish team in the swedish GP and local media started to print the results after that. Not much, but better than nothing. Then came Keke Rosberg and when he started to get great results on the early 80's, suddenly every paper started to make stories about F1. After that it was never a challenge to find the results and more. After that came the time of Senna, who I still consider the best ever (no need to argue about it here, everyone can have their opinions). Then came another finn, who managed to beat Senna in the 1st qualifying and later won two championships. Another one of my favourites, surely partly cause he was a finn. Btw, never really cared about Kimi, so feel free to say Montoya is better. ;) I actually liked Montoya a lot, he wasn't the fastest guy, but he made some moves that must've gotten everyone's attention.

But now I see no reason to follow a sports that's uninteresting. And I don't wish to argue the reasons why. I just wish all the best to everyone who keeps following F1. :D
