That would have resulted in some excitement on the track and some cool pics of what Honda was doing off the track. Instead they've been BSing us since Spain.... they've known since at least Spain that their KERS issue isn't resolvable with the number of tokens they have available. The Same would have been true for Renault and Ferrari (2014).

Aside from giving us 2 years of BORING racing I'm not sure what these rules are doing for us. It's tooo early and the differences to great for the token stuff to make sense.
could not agree more .burn the rules it would have been more exciting to see evolution of engine across races , getting more powerful despite being unreliable.it would have been better to see cars retiring from top5-6 positions in place of languishing in the back.

I dont think you can put Mclaren's sponsorship woes at Honda's door considering Mclaren have gone from fighting world championships to fighting Force India for points for the two seasons before Honda became involved.

The difference between Mclarens performance last year year (just beating force india) and this year (just beating Marussia) is down to the difference between Honda and Mercedes PU, everything else is down to Mclaren.

This sponsorship deal is starting from 2016. Johnnie Walker will still be on the car next race I believe.

I don't think a driver is in any way concerned with politics when he's driving around a F1 car. Politics in F1 are done off the track.
Mainly. But once the usual way is exhausted...

I can´t buy Alonso complaining about the PU in the PU manufacturer home gp is a coincidence. He´s been really patient all the season, and sudenly he´s ranting this hard precisely on Honda´s home?

I learnt a long time ago in F1 there´re no coincidences, and politics play a bigger role than in any other sport. Add to that McLaren has complained more than once about the development rate of Honda and to me this sound much more reasonable than Alonso ranting by himself

Yeah, I don really care about McLaren's Sponsorship woes. Those are Ron's problems.

I just care about the F1 from an entertainment point of view. I'm not blaming Honda either, I think they are a victim in this as well. You could probably add Alonso's frustration to that too.

I neither believe in coïncidences. I simply don't believe it was a consious and political decision to do so. It could very well be that the fact that Honda did so poor on own ground saddened and angered Alonso, combined with a bad season anyway and with others overtaking him boiling him up to the point he could not take any more.

Let's not mistake this for a Bernie political chess-game. It was a honest outburst from Alonso, who simply lost it at the moment. You could argue that him sticking afterwards to it in his post-race interview was political, but as in "I'm in deep dodo now anyway, might just as well stick to it now to make a point."

I hope Honda is not considering this. Red Bull will be using Ferrari engine next year. You dont want Ferrari and Red Bull to know everything about Honda engine.

In fact after this year's performance, I will be surprised if Torro Rosso was to pay money and take Honda engine.
