Stunning pace by the Toro Rosso through sector 1. I have no doubt it is one of the best chassis on the grid, probably only behind Red Bull and Mercedes. I think James Key and his team deserve major credit for this years car, making even Red Bull scratch their head at the start of the season..

They brought a slightly adjusted front wing (upper flap) to test on Friday but I don't know which one they used to race. Max reported that the car had quite a bit of understeer lately:

Not so sure it is new. Looks like it might just be in the low downforce configuration.

Tinier than the Sauber C32 designed by Matt Morris (who now tries to design small sidepods for McLaren i guess) ?

The car with the tiniest sidepods i remember is the Lamborghini 291.

There were some interesting designs at the beginning of the 90's ... the Life 190 had small sidepods, too.
