So anybody an idea what the chassis name will be? It's likely going to be either E23 or R32 (it's coincedence that the numbers are mirrored.). Historical data showed that back when Benetton got taken over by Renault at the end of 2001, the car's name changed from B201 in 2001 to R202. In 2003, this got shortened to R23. The last number would suggest the year, although even that has only partly logic applied because when we went into the new decade since 2010, the name did not change to R210, but to R30. The R31 in 2011 was the last car with the R in its name, so if I had to guess it would continue from there. But it's guessing.
The E in E22 stand for Enstone. The car will still be build in Enstone, so maybe they'll continue that tradition and name the car E23. Again, it's guessing.
