They stated that fuel upgrade alone can give 0,1 sec per lap in some circuits. Where that 0,0001 comes from?namao wrote:Breaking News:

I have no idea of it's credibility and can't read anything apart from english, but I get the general idea.

Honda will probably leave McLaren? yeah based on the history and heritage they have shared and leaving them without winning! they are here for the long term, so based on your opinion of them leaving McLaren it won't happen.techman wrote:I think honda is a decent engine , its not the best but in the reanult 2016 range but the chassis is probably the weakest link of the two and if you compare the season so far, mclaren honda came closest to redbull in a power cirucit like sochi, they were only 0.2 of outqualifying the fastest redbull, but in tracks that are more aero and chassis circuit like monaco mclaren struggled. if not for max vertstappen crash, i dont think mclaren would have got into Q3 , and luckily the rain came down on sunday and we saw lot of the top cars crash out, Mclaren however did the best pitwork out there to get alonso ahead of rosberg and sainz, . both rosberg and sainz were furious with the pitcrews afterward. Since we know how hard is to overtake in monaco , rosberg and sainz had absolutley now chance to overtake, but just compared alonso pace , it was horrible, we heard both drivers complain about understeering car and chassis inbalance during practice sesssion. we heard numours time jenson complaining about oversteering during other race track, the problem is in with the chassis. And hopefully it get sorted out because an inbalance car will never give a quick time in any race track. i understand why Eric position, he is in danger of losing his position because of all the ridiculuss claim he made before monaco, but the reality is mclaren chassis is probably 5 or 6 best. Mclaren previous chassis in 2013 and 2014 were really not good, even with a mercedes engine. I totally understand why ron does not want honda to be shared with redbull or torro rosso, those 2 chassis are pretty good and if they perform better with a honda engine. honda will probably leave mclaren. we already heard paddie lowe saying both renault and honda are ahead of 2015 ferrari engine from their data, that absoluelty true. mclaren chassis needs to be improve alot to catch up
Ahhh ok, I didn't see that one.Juzh wrote:http://www.f1technical.net/forum/viewto ... 17#p640817Webber2011 wrote:Take this for what you will guys.

that means that their fuel is almost on par with the mercs, on par with red bull and definetely better than ferrarimclaren111 wrote:namao:

How long do you think the Honda "Works" team would be happy being trounced by RBR and TR with the same engine every week?KingHamilton01 wrote:Honda will probably leave McLaren? yeah based on the history and heritage they have shared and leaving them without winning! they are here for the long term, so based on your opinion of them leaving McLaren it won't happen.techman wrote:I totally understand why ron does not want honda to be shared with redbull or torro rosso, those 2 chassis are pretty good and if they perform better with a honda engine. honda will probably leave mclaren. we already heard paddie lowe saying both renault and honda are ahead of 2015 ferrari engine from their data, that absoluelty true. mclaren chassis needs to be improve alot to catch up

It's not true. It's really not much more than guessing what he did. Especially the power curves are pretty much like what a naturally aspirated V8 would be.davidfroshanzen wrote:If the data is true. Wow that just a little bit behind merc ..... lolWebber2011 wrote:Take this for what you will guys.
