Impressive pace by the #5, in 3.25.XXX while the #2 is in 3.26.5XX. Furthermore the Toyota are on a different strategie which will help them to do ~1/2 stop less than the Porsche.

As seen above, Manor's Le Mans debut has come to an early end.

#6 Toyota in the garage and Davidson complaining about slow zone warnings if I understood - potential investigation?

Embarrassing outing for Audi. They were in decline for a while, but this year's result shows things are not going right there. Already last year they experienced too many issues and mistakes unusual for the team used to be like a clockwork, but watching Audi 2016 it is hard to believe they dominated this race not so long ago.

I feel horrible for Toyota. They had the best fastest car for 23hrs and 57min. I felt like they really earned this. Twice in three years, they've had the fastest car in the race with nothing to show but a worthless(marketing wise, compared to Le Mans) 2014 WEC title.

Sir Frank Williams after the 2003 Canadian GP, where Ralf hesitated to pass brother M. Schumacher

IMHO they're decision to stay wedded to diesel is the main thing holding Audi back. They've said themselves the weight of the diesel kept them from being able to join the 8mj class.
