A future track

Post

Well, I don't feel so lonely today: Toyota came up with this ad about how the tracks of the future can be.

Image

Now, if they put the stands over the track, with a transparent floor, so the fans don't have to watch the race from a mile away, then my idea for a new kind of track has finally reached its target... :)

Not the best of targets, if I'm allowed to say it so, but a hit is a hit:

Toyota given two years to shape up or ship out

What do you say? Is this a race or a mock up of a race? I guess there would be a problem in the rain, but I'm sure Max Mosley won't care about it. ;)

Amazing what computer graphics can do.

So, Ciro, what really would a no-holds-barred track of yours be like? Layout? Surface? Drainage? Construction techniques? Spectator viewing, movement, accomodation, control? What strange ideas lurk within your skull?

Makes me remember an old PC game called "stunts" I played when I was like 10 years old.
You could build your own tracks with loops and jumps and different kind of those stuff, I remember driving the IMSA Porsche and Jaguar and the March-Porsche indy arround the weirdest track you could imagine...

Now I´m a grown up adult and don´t do those kind of stuff, obviously  but, well maybe will test that "trackmania sunrise" game I don´´t know
