Hmm, possibly. I got this phone from a dying old man in a dusty old chinese pawn shop. he was lying on the floor and with his last bit of strength he gave me this phone with the f1tech window open. Looked like the poor sucker was addicted to F1. He wispered into my ear that I must carry on his legacy, with zeal! That this is the name I must carry. I was confused for sure but I took the phone anyway and told him to hang in there. The Brazilian F1 journalists more reliable did not give many details about the Force India meeting that happened yesterday. They said negotiations advanced after the meeting. The official announcement will take place between Wednesday and Friday next week.
The new information is that Petrobras, Brazilian state oil company, which currently sponsors Williams since 2003, is involved in the negotiations and will offer a much larger amount than the $16 million offered by the Banco do Brasil. Will give a boost in negotiations between Nasr and Force India.
Nasr is the favorite to get the seat. If the information about Petrobrás is true, bye bye Ocon in Force India?

About Petrobras and Williams, Petrobras sponsored Williams during the BMW era but the deal ended there or shortly after.
When Massa was signed in 2014, Petrobras came back with.

In-fact, given that he is far more an F1 insider than a journalist it seems almost certain to me he is being given to release in order to communicate with other people in F1/put pressure on (or for whatever reason). You have to ask yourself that given who Eddie Jordan is, what is his motivation for releasing this information to the public, and also why is choosing to divulge this information but not others?
