According to AMS, Wehrlein and Nasr have the best chances to get the seat next to Ericsson at Sauber

As a Sauber and Williams fan, and considering Nasr's piss poor performance this season I hope he doesn't get either seat and is sent packing and doesn't come back. Would also stop these stupid conspiracy rumours. Seriously, he was even outqualified by Ericsson this weekend despite Ericsson's very limited running and him using chassis #2 which according to Nasr doesn't work.

Ui! I really hope its gonna be Wehrlein. I think he is the best choice out of Nasr and Guitierez

Sincerely? I would like to see the face of those who do not consider Felipe Nasr a talent after he did today. Ericsson? what a joke. He passed over the painted asphalt and anyone who is or was a professional driver knows what to do in such situations. He does not deserve the opportunity that Sauber is giving him.

Today Nasr finished P9. Ericsson crashed. He earned two points and put Sauber in front of Manor in the championship.

Werhlein finished the race finished the race in the penultimate position, 15 seconds behind Ocon, who, even with a better car than Nasr, failed to overtake him and was still overtaken by two drivers on the final lap, missing a great chance to score points this season.

But, it's okay! Nasr is a mediocre driver who does not deserve to be in F1 and Werhlein is much more interesting than Nasr for Sauber. Okay, okay, I understand...

It's ... that's what happens when choosing a driver is only for the money that it can bring to the team. For example, crash on the back of another on the straight (palmer - renault) ???

Ericsson = Felipe Massa. Must be, they both crashed the exact same way.

I think Sauber will continue with ERI and Nasr for 2017. Money talks.

These haters ... It's great to see them hiding after Nasr did a very good race today.

I think some will say it was luck: Well, Nasr was driving the worst car on the grid, finished P9, ahead of 7 drivers with better cars than him. Of the 6 retirements in this race, Nasr only earned the position of two.

If he doesn't pitted for intermediate tyres and gained positions because of this, another point for him. It shows that he was smart in knowing which was the best tire for the situation at the moment, unlike his teammate and others. Another point for him for drive 42 laps with the same tyres and maintain steady pace until the end of the race.

The best part is if Ericsson doesn't score points in Abu Dhabi, Nasr will end his second consecutive season ahead of Ericsson in the championship. A big punch in the face on his haters.

Felipe Massa at least fought for a title (Ferrari), right? That alone qualifies him on another level. I do not know if Nasr will continue, I do not think so.

Unfortunately, I do not think Nasr will stay at Sauber, the news coming out here isn´t good. There is an auction for the vacancy on Sauber and the one with the most money (of sponsorship) will be the one chosen.

When questioned, Nasr didn't seem so excited about staying at Sauber in 2017 now did he? It's the best seat available right now, he has the money, he gave them another 40 million with his finish. Surely I think he is staying.

As for Ericsson.. depends if his Swedish gold is heavier than the Mexican gold.

I read an article published by AMuS today. Said that Toto Wolf is trying to put Werhlein in Sauber. Manor would receive Nasr with open arms because he has more money than Werhlein, Gutierrez and Haryanto, but warns Manor may not be on the grid next year if they finish last in the constructor championship.

The article also said that Banco do Brasil (Nasr sponsor) does not want to negotiate with Sauber because of the current performance of the team. But with Manor, maybe.

Nasr didn't seem excited about get a seat in Renault, or in Force India, or in Sauber. And this may cost his seat next year.

Brazilian media said that Banco do Brasil, with his CEO had talked with Sauber this weekend.
