fcol, get a grip people. really. keep it together.
The silent partner always escapes media censure. Until recently Ojjeh & Mumtalakat Holding Company's decisions were almost unreported whenever Mclaren and Dennis were being lambasted by the press. The only reason these shareholders get a mention now is because of what is happening to Dennis himself.FW17 wrote:I think you are reading too much into what the media wrote, most of it was nationalist and misogyny.
Yes 2 additional drivers were signed but what ever was brought by these drivers were trumped by the newly signed drivers. This was done with approval of the majority share holder, against whom nothing negative has been written.
If anyone is to be blamed for sauber's current state, then it will be designers of the 2013 car and POS Ferrari engine of 2014.
Still unfounded, everything you said about her. The team principal alone doesn't make those decisions. I am 100% sure Peter Sauber and other team heads had a full say. She is doing what she has to do to keep the team afloat.edu2703 wrote:Good job? Since when do you follow F1? Since Monisha became team leader, Peter Sauber is a 'nobody' on the team.PlatinumZealot wrote:I think your views are unfounded though. I don't hear Peter Sauber complaining so to me she is doing a good job.
Monisha's administration has been rated by F1 journalists as 'bad', marked by the 'Drivegate' scandal in 2015, when it was discovered that Monisha has signed with four drivers for two seats. (Nasr, Ericsson, Bianchi and Van de Garde). Giedo filed a lawsuit against Sauber in Melborne to secure a seat on the team.
Not only that. Monisha has already made bad decisions, as to use 2016 engines next season. Now very close to making another bad decision: Hire Esteban Gutierrez.
I don't understand: If Sauber was sold, why they still want a paydriver?
Gutierrez has NO talent, NO charisma and NO ONE wants him in F1. Hiring him is literally destroying the team's image and having another bad season.
Malaysia has struggled for an audience for a while, it probably doesn't help that they red flag the race when it rains yet they hold the race at a time when rain is quite likely. As gate money is the circuits/governments only income from the race it just isn't worth it.Sevach wrote:http://www.motorsport.com/f1/news/malay ... er-852486/

The Ecclestone's friends are abandoning him.
thanks for restoring trust in mankind with this post.efuloni wrote:The fact that Sauber has just confirmed a driver with 9 points in 2 seasons and probably will let without a seat the other driver, who has 29 points in the same period, shows how much is wrong with F1.
Not that Nasr is that big deal (he is not), but, in comparison, I think almost no one disagrees that he deserves a seat way more than the swedish.
He will get the boot after beating his team-mate in both of his F1 seasons.
Christmas has come early.Sevach wrote:http://www.motorsport.com/f1/news/malay ... er-852486/

Take your pick.Cold Fussion wrote:Christmas has come early.
Points aside he has been outperformed by Ericsson at just about every instance this season, up to and including not even being able to set up his car and been forced to use the same set-up as Ericsson while at the same time causing headaces with a bunch of conspiracy theories.efuloni wrote:The fact that Sauber has just confirmed a driver with 9 points in 2 seasons and probably will let without a seat the other driver, who has 29 points in the same period, shows how much is wrong with F1.

I like Malaysia´s track and the races have been there quite exciting. I think its a great loss.Cold Fussion wrote:Christmas has come early.Sevach wrote:http://www.motorsport.com/f1/news/malay ... er-852486/

But you have to analyze the current situation of Sauber.Sniffit wrote:Points aside he has been outperformed by Ericsson at just about every instance this season, up to and including not even being able to set up his car and been forced to use the same set-up as Ericsson while at the same time causing headaces with a bunch of conspiracy theories.
