More expected than a victory of Mercedes...

Yes 2 additional drivers were signed but what ever was brought by these drivers were trumped by the newly signed drivers. This was done with approval of the majority share holder, against whom nothing negative has been written.

If anyone is to be blamed for sauber's current state, then it will be designers of the 2013 car and POS Ferrari engine of 2014.
The silent partner always escapes media censure. Until recently Ojjeh & Mumtalakat Holding Company's decisions were almost unreported whenever Mclaren and Dennis were being lambasted by the press. The only reason these shareholders get a mention now is because of what is happening to Dennis himself.

Good job? Since when do you follow F1? Since Monisha became team leader, Peter Sauber is a 'nobody' on the team.

Monisha's administration has been rated by F1 journalists as 'bad', marked by the 'Drivegate' scandal in 2015, when it was discovered that Monisha has signed with four drivers for two seats. (Nasr, Ericsson, Bianchi and Van de Garde). Giedo filed a lawsuit against Sauber in Melborne to secure a seat on the team.

Not only that. Monisha has already made bad decisions, as to use 2016 engines next season. Now very close to making another bad decision: Hire Esteban Gutierrez.

I don't understand: If Sauber was sold, why they still want a paydriver?

Gutierrez has NO talent, NO charisma and NO ONE wants him in F1. Hiring him is literally destroying the team's image and having another bad season.
Still unfounded, everything you said about her. The team principal alone doesn't make those decisions. I am 100% sure Peter Sauber and other team heads had a full say. She is doing what she has to do to keep the team afloat.

Malaysia has struggled for an audience for a while, it probably doesn't help that they red flag the race when it rains yet they hold the race at a time when rain is quite likely. As gate money is the circuits/governments only income from the race it just isn't worth it.

Singapore. In every measure it is a success, though the organisers must wonder why they have to pay $50m a year while the European venues pay half that yet many struggle to fill the grandstands and Monte Carlo get the race for free. I suspect as one of the better attended races the organisers want a cheaper and fairer contract and keep the race ongoing.

The fact that Sauber has just confirmed a driver with 9 points in 2 seasons and probably will let without a seat the other driver, who has 29 points in the same period, shows how much is wrong with F1.

Not that Nasr is that big deal (he is not), but, in comparison, I think almost no one disagrees that he deserves a seat way more than the swedish.

He will get the boot after beating his team-mate in both of his F1 seasons.

Points aside he has been outperformed by Ericsson at just about every instance this season, up to and including not even being able to set up his car and been forced to use the same set-up as Ericsson while at the same time causing headaces with a bunch of conspiracy theories.

Maybe getting out of Sauber is a good thing for Nasr. Even if he is a talented driver, he will hardly impress better teams running in the last positions of the grid. Next year Sauber will use 2016 Ferrari engines and many believe that Sauber will be the worst team in 2017, something like Manor Marussia in 2015.

What Nasr should do is get hired by a better team as a test driver. Maybe he should go back to Williams. Normally, test drivers are the first on the list to sign a contract with the team (if they are good drivers, of course). Three test drivers (Esteban Ocon, Lance Stroll and Stoffel Vandoorne) were promoted only this year.

But you have to analyze the current situation of Sauber.

If I were Monisha I would imagine like this: Sauber car is not able to finish in the points under normal racing conditions. Ericsson drives well in these "normal races", ouperforming his teammate. Nasr, on the other hand, drives very well in "crazy races" where the car has a chance to finish in points.

For a small team like Sauber, points are very valuable and are more important than anything else.

To summarize: I prefer to hire a driver who is able to score points with this car than a driver who is not capable, no matter if he has been outperformed. Being constant in a car that is not able to finish in points is something useless for the team.

If Sauber had a car capable of finishing the points regularly, Ericsson would be more attractive than Nasr, but it's not the case That is why you need to analyze the situation.
