Thats the clearest pic of the rear yet, the only one I had yesterday had smoke pouring from the engine! [edit] Looking at them now in hi res from the XPB site. I can see they are not rotary dampers, but the complex piece we can see is a rotary position sensor for suspension movement. the dmapers look like they are tucked above the gearbox in a conventional position. Interestign to note is the vent on the rear of the engine cover and the spaced out flexure for the rear leg of the upper wishbone (ala McLaren).ginsu wrote:scarbs is definitely right, it looks like they're using rotary dampers on the
rear suspension.
just noticed that interesting little notch in the upper plane of the rear wing. kinda makes it look like a whale tail. hmmm.
The notch in the rear wing was a feature last year, it apepared at the european GP, Red Bull woudln't give me much info But adrian did give me this quote "It is a totally new wing design to replace the launch car wing that was also run in Bahrain and as such is aimed at the intermediate downforce level circuits"
