I hope for Williams sake that this is a render from the very early design fase and not the actual car. Because it looks really underdeveloped. But, than again it looks like a car that is deveolped under the guidance of Pat Symmonds.

Williams is heading for though season they have struggled massively with aero the last three years almost no improvement on rear downforce issues and now the emphasis is on downforce. Williams will be fighting with Haas and Sauber this year. Force India and STR will be ahead of them.

nothing awkward about it. the STROLL's payed for an experienced driver along side Lance. Experienced in this particular situation means intra-team, so there was never any doubt Massa was the other driver after Valteri was on exit.

Massa surely was able to milk them for as many millions as he could, way over what he's worth and he knows that.

Emotionally it seems the only thing Williams had to pull on was Massa's Brazil chassis and for some reason that deal wasn't water tight enough, Williams keeps the car for the entire '17 season.

Either that or Massa let go of possession for 12months and has a performance clause that see's not only extra millions but the chassis as well.

Why do we always have to think that drivers are each other's mortal enemies and their entire motivation is driven by money only? It's a far too simplistic and naive opinion of human behaviour.

It would not be awkward - I think, it is rather expected of Stroll to be on the same level with Massa or higher in the second part of the upcoming season.

Why would you want your '16 car delivered when you've got a year of competing in a '17 to come? And it's not like he can run it anyway. What if he wins a race this year? Which car is he going to want then?

To suggest they withheld a gift seems a bit mean.
