There's nothing wrong in taking pride though. These teams spend millions on showing these cars around the world. Granted there are probably ways to do this automated but they're a world championship team in 'the pinnacle of motorsport'. The tubs need to be painted anyway so why not get that highly skilled painter (or air brush technician if that's the professional title) to do finishing touches like this.
IIRC RBR made a video last year about the what goes into making a bolt.
I think coffees served at mclaren even have their logo on top too. Teams do stuff like this, I think it shows attention to detail which is what this sport is all about to me
