Certainly is a limousine though; you wonder if - even if the long wheelbase is the way to go for the most part - they might struggle getting it turned around Monaco. In 2007 Ferrari had the (generally) fastest car but with a longer wheelbase than McLaren and were thoroughly smoked there.
Edit: You've got to imagine there's more coming to the floor ahead of the rear wheels, right? Other than tyre squirt slots, seems quite bare.
Well, actually, I'm wondering now...
I think this long wheelbase should be great for the whole race calendar, but I suppose a shorter wheelbase version could come in order just for Monaco (and maybe other streetcircuits) perhaps? Back in 2013 Lotus came with a shorter wheelbase version of the E21, which suited Kimi.
Who designed that E21? James Allison.
Question is, how much of this longer wheelbase is due to what's happening under that bonnet behind the driver. Is it really necessary, because of packaging or is it purely because on how the aero works on the car and ride characteristics.
What I'm asking is, can this package be fitted on a wheelbased car just like the W06?
