Nice placement of vortex generators. I think no other team does this. They all use the upper flaps of the wing and not the main plate.

This has been done in previous years by a variety of teams. Too busy to look it up now, but maybe later today I'll show some pictures.

I wonder why we do not see this on more cars. Should create a more predictable and steady vortex as there is a lot less movement in this area of the car compared to upper flaps.

Just because we don't see something, doesn't mean it's not there... McLaren, Merc, Ferrari all used it in years before and we'll probably see it on pictures during this season...

They've tested a similar setup in 2015 and 2016 already on some weekends, but they always reverted back to their usual style.
I think it was in Spa last year.
