Even if the Ferrari is the fastest - and I have my doubts - no way they'll have the kind of advantage Mercedes had; at best we'll be talking a few tenths, and that will competition.
I'm also hoping that this year sees the driver able to make more difference again; it's my hypothesis that the specific driver's abilities has made less difference as downforce has increased and things like "this is a great circuit for x driver" has become less and less true. But I expect this might change this year, and you'll see drivers able to take more chances - which will in turn create mistakes - as the grip available (and the fact it won't immediately disappear, never to return if pushed) will mean they can chance their arm a bit more.
Or, at least, it's what I'm hoping for
