Some good analysis in this link and positives to take for SFi.

"Sergio Perez completed exactly 100 laps for Force India on another solid day of mileage for the Silverstone-based team, adding to the 142 accumulated by Esteban Ocon on Tuesday. Force India's headline times have been nothing spectacular in pre-season but the hefty lap count is a good start to the second week of testing after encountering niggling issues at the start of pre-season."

To all those concerned about fastest time in testing how it will determine the pecking order -

"Bottas achieved the lap time in the hour before lunch before handing the car over to teammate Lewis Hamilton, who completed 79 laps to give the team a combined total of 149 for the day. Hamilton finished 1.3s down on his teammate despite running in more representative conditions of a normal Spanish GP -- especially in the early afternoon -- highlighting again why it is unwise to treat headline times as gospel at this stage of winter testing."

From your article:

“We had a lot of interruptions,” he said. “Once with an early brake failure and then a couple of red flags, which [meant] we didn’t quite get our programme done, but I think we’re learning. We learned a lot once again.

“I think today the team has found a lot of the weaknesses that we have with the car, which is quite critical, and I think it’s just a matter of time before we sort them out, because I think it is quite easy to sort those issues.”

Amus article, car is over the minimum weight, both drivers at 72 kg, need to lose weight. AFAIR they had problems with that in '14 too.

All small issues which can be sorted soon, nothing terminal to be worried about with the design philosophy or approach. Just look the at mileage they are racking up and the time 1:20:161 on the Ultras without focusing on Quali setup, that's awesome!

Fantastic interview, have a look at the topics discussed by Andy Green from SFi, it answers pretty much all the questions we've been pondering about these last few days, oh and I love the bit where he says, "hopefully in the last day or two of testing we'll turn up the car and see what it can do." They are happy with their approach, now all they need to do is to tweak it to get it to it's sweet spot. =D> :D

Has anyone seen the new pink colour scheme for the 2017 season? From autosport
"The switch to the pink, magenta and silver livery has come in the wake of the team signing a new sponsorship deal with water technology specialists BWT."

According to MST it's worth 15-20 million dollars per year.

BWT already sponsored a car in DTM so we have pictures that give us a rough idea how the car will look like on the track (i can only assume that the official pic is just a rendering) it's very bright/soft rose (not pink).

It's better than the dull gray car from before, it's unique and striking.

I quite like it to be honest. Kind of reminds me of Italian football club kits.
