Coincidentally, and hilariously, I was in Dublin when you wrote that, although I'm sure that's not the Irish coffee you're talking about. I'm back in the UK now, in MK.
I remember quite a few years ago, Hakkinen crashed his McLaren at Monza (or somewhere else fast - it was a long time ago, I can't remember exactly - MP4/13 or 14 I think), and the car had a sidepod heavily damaged.
The car was leaking neon green fluid from the left radiator, which McLaren later explained was glycol-based coolant.
I think in the intervening years, most or all the cars swapped over to more or less pure water; but I'm now wondering what coolant the cars are using this year, if the coolant isn't only coolant.
Ignoring the practicalities, what else is there that could end up in the combustion chamber?
Air (obviously), Fuel (obviously), Oil (possibly), Coolant (possibly). Hydraulic fluid? (possibly).
Is there anything else?
The (nitrogen) air spring system for the valvetrain doesn't help with anything, so I'm ignoring that. Are there other fluids I've not considered?
