Any suggestions for a magazine that will give me a good knowledge of automotive/aerospace design and technology?

Im looking to do Mechanical ENgineeing at uni and was just generally interested/wanted to keep up with news.

Not really interested in new scientist though.

Hybrid question, are they too expensive or is the fuel effiecency attractive?

the engineer is pretty good and if ur into race cars, then racetech or race car engineering are great...

I see alot of mention of RCE on these forums like stated by Chubbs.

Hybrids? I believe they will take off, as soon as the efficiencies are dramatically increased by the multi-billion dollar R&D budgets of a high end racing series like F1.

But then again, some people dont think that racing (F1) is the place to promote Hybrid technology. I for one think that even a 2 year stint of having Hybrids in F1 would probably push the current tech forward DECADES.

We shall see where the KERS systems lead!
