Yawn.... after hearing this for more than two years now, it has just become wishful thinking, empty words.
I don't really agree.JuanjoTS wrote: ↑18 Apr 2017, 19:2215 min is a way of talking, if they should improve in that aspect, it is not tolerable to change 2 engines cost 8 hours in an F1 team. There must be a way to get closer to 15 minutes than at 8 hours, it takes 2 seconds to change wheels while in a workshop costs more than an hour. When you create a piece you have to think about the ease of substitution, something that is thought too little.
PD: With the right tools I hang a picture in 2 seconds.
Yes,things have hit the bottom today, from tomorrow Honda will start to improve.godlameroso wrote: ↑18 Apr 2017, 20:41It can't rain all the time, so do you think we are past rock bottom?

Based on what exactly? Pure hope?
Sorry Honda CEO I know you're footing the bill for all this from your couch.godlameroso wrote: ↑18 Apr 2017, 21:47Based on what exactly? Pure hope?
I need to see something substantial to believe in this project again
Change a box, holes, cleats and screws already put, if you are not able to change it in 2 seconds ..... If I have to put the tacos, bolts and level it 10 seconds maximum.Redragon wrote: ↑18 Apr 2017, 19:472 sec on level, not change but feel free to share a video of itJuanjoTS wrote: ↑18 Apr 2017, 19:2215 min is a way of talking, if they should improve in that aspect, it is not tolerable to change 2 engines cost 8 hours in an F1 team. I'm a massive fan of McLaren Honda like anyone else, but when you look at Ferrari and Merc, they have done all their talking on the track.Mansell89 wrote: ↑18 Apr 2017, 22:07Sorry Honda CEO I know you're footing the bill for all this from your couch.godlameroso wrote: ↑18 Apr 2017, 21:47Based on what exactly? I got the onboard video and extracted the frames, then manually recorded the speeds. I tried to align the speeds based on the references from the track, but as you note, the traces are not properly aligned in the 2nd half of the lap...the one I posted was put together quickly, so it's a rough draft if you like. Still the apex speed differences can be judged, so I think it's helpful information to evaluate the chassis. It is also possible to construct a throttle/brake telemetry like that using other methods, but it is more laborious...and I'm not good at coding so, it's even worse.
