Ferrari are gonna walk it

Post

Fantastic news!! Ferrari are at least half a second ahead of mclaren, according to Lauda, Symonds and Michael. They even suggest Mclaren will fight with williams/renault and renault, like i predicted a few weeks ago.

The honeymoon is over. No more 700 pages to copy. I just hope Williams and Renault will get closer to Ferrrai and give them a good fight.

I also had a strange dream, that Ferrari would replace Massa with Schumacher from the 2nd race onwards. Wouldnt that be fantastic. THE one and only best ever ever driver back in F1.

LMAO!!! "Dream On" haha. Nice one manchild.

But seriously how is that great news, if Ferrari are going to walk it its going to be nothing more than a boring repeat of 2002, with fans switching off all over the globe and the FIA messing around with all sort of rediculous schemes to "improve the show". I know you don't like Mclaren (and somehow you still see the need to slander them in this thread?!) so I'll leave them out of it. But wouldn't you rather see a close fought battle between say Kimi & Fernando, plus maybe Massa, with the BMW's and William's occasionally mixing it up? Surely that would be a great season to watch, rather than Ferrari simply "walking it".

I can't agree more with you on that one P_O_L, I'm really hoping this season marks a turn for the better in Williams' fortunes. I'm still a bit unsure as to what Renault are going to be capable of come Melbourne, but they know what they're doing, Fernando's two back to back titles prove that. I rekon if there's pace to be found in that R28, they'll find it sharpish.

All in all I very much doubt Ferrari would walk it. Remeber that last season Kimi ran away with it at Melbourne, but that was definately not how it sayed. To quote Murray Walker:
Anything can happen in Formula 1. And it usually does!
Amen to that. [-o<

Don´t you know kid?
Senna and Fangio where "THE two and only best ever ever drivers".

They beated guys like Prost, Mansell, Piquet, Ascari, Hawthorn, Farina, etc. all very very good drivers.

Schumacher beated Barrichello, Irvine...

You have got to catch the history books kid. Don´t let you get numb by red statistics.

At the moment Ferrari have only won the winter championship.

Lets wait until Australia, before we jump to any conclusions and as Spencfier_Murphy has stated even then we will not have a clear idea of the competiveness of all teams

Hope that Williams, Red Bull and Renault can mix it with Ferrari and Mclaren, for a really open season.

If the F2008 is seriously that good, then they deserve it.

I think that if Ferrari are really that far out in front by round 7, that there will be 10 teams stopping 2008 development and focusing on 2009 regs development while Ferrari waste time on the 2008 car.

I think Renault, McLaren, Williams, BMW and possibly Red Bull will challenge this year for wins/podiums.

But then, I thought that the RB3 was gonna be amazing last year as well... lol

We'll see who's the best after a few races... Ferrari were the champs of last years test too. But they really had to fight till the end en really needed the luck at the end to claim the title. So let's wait, shall we pol?

You forgot about the stolen disks that Renault aquired from McLaren or don't these count ?

I would give it 4 races before deciding on anything...

*IF* Ferrari have an advantage now, I don't think they'll have it all their way all season.

Shame this thread wasn't started in an even handed discussion prompting manner...no it was yet again more childish antics from the same user. Roll on your ban so this can be F1 TECHNICAL again.

They only had to fight after the flexi-floor was found out. They had 6 tenths on the field till then.

I just prey for a clear 2008 season [-o< , even if Ferrari or any other team dominates the season . I can not stand any more saga ‘s such as 2007 ( flexible floors , spy saga ) and 2006 ( mass damper , flexible wings ) . To refresh your memories Mc Laren dominated during 1988 , 1989 but the championship was open untill the last races ( Senna - Prost battle ) :!: :!:
