Obviously Seb Bourdais & Nelson Jr. are unknown qualities atm, but I have a feeling a couple of guys in our lists may be bumped down by one or both of them come season's end.
Silence is golden when you don't know a good answer.
I think people are underestimating massa a bit too much, he is a multiple race winner and is sitting in a ferrari, kimi may be better, but hes so low on peoples lists.
Based on what I have seen so far from them, here's my list:
1. Alonso (I'd say he's overall the best driver)
2. Räikkönen (Simply bloody fast)
3. Rosberg
4. Hamilton
5. Kovalainen (I estimate him highly, but I have my doubts since Briatore didn't need him anymore. It may be for commercial reasons, but I'm not sure yet)
6. Button
7. Vettel
8. Coulthard (Despite lacklustre quali performances, he is one of the best drivers in the race)
9. Massa
10. Trulli (The forgotten one, but only because he is at Toyota)
Top 10 Current F1 Drivers:
Kimi,
Hamilton/Alonso,
Massa/Heidfeld,
Kubika/Kovalinen,
Bourdais/Coulthard/Webber.

1. Alonso (I'd say he's overall the best driver)
2. Räikkönen (Simply bloody fast)
3. Rosberg
4. Hamilton
5. Kovalainen (I estimate him highly, too, I think Briatore didn´t want another fight between Fernando and a very fast driver like him, anyway, Nelsinho doesn´t seem slow either, so.... )
then:
6. Massa (underestimated, can´t deny he is fast, in the 2nd half of 2006 he adapted to Ferrari and was near Schumacher, in 2007 he beated Kimi several times)
7. Heidfeld
8. Kubica
9. Vettel
10. Webber (at qualy)
I haven´t seen Seba Bourdais and Nelsinho son can´t realy count them in (till now).
Trulli and Button are lost and tired.

Yes, in F1 McNish was a pretty average driver in a fairly poor car, but considering his career as a whole, he's had some huge accidents (including one in Donnington where a spectator was killed) which must have taken an extraordinary amount of courage to bounce back from. In a sports prototype there are few drivers that come close, when it comes to Le Mans he is probably the fastest guy out there, certainly the fastest consistantly. He's raced almost every series and had considerable success in many, but pure bad luck has cost him alot, some of his greatest drives have been snatched from him due to a problem outside his control, most reacently leading last years Le Mans by several laps before handing the car over to team mate Capello, only for the wheel to fall off after 40 laps.
2 ALMS titles (again with Capello) and a Le Mans victory should say enough.
[Edit]: OK, Ray has a point, I might also add that McNish was born within about 15 miles of my house in Scotland. But I don't particularely like Dumfries (having worked there all summer) and I think he's a craking driver despite that.

1.Lewis (Kid seems to have it all)
2.Kimi (I would say the top 2 are more of less interchangeable)
3.Alonso (lost his super cool un knockable image last year, To many silly mistakes)
4.Rosberg (Really Solid last year)
5.Hecki (really good drive from him last year)
6.Kubica
7.Nick
8.Button (he put last years honda in places it should not be, Became a racer not just a driver)
9.Massa (Very Very Fast, but he is not a racer, he only wins from pole. Dont get me wrong i like the guy)
10.Sutil (Did a great job last year in a crap car)
Webber is just to unlucky
Coultard is no longer at his best
Seb... Only showed his class in one race, in a car that was good, i would put him at 11.
I believe in the chain of command, Its the chain I use to beat you till you do what i want!!!
