if anyone ever had doubt what can "alonso" do... its laid to rest. P7..goshh..give him engine and he will fight with merc/ferrari. that chassis is awesome.

The saddest part is he has slim chances to come to the end, points will be a challenge since fuel saving will come into the effect during the race.

Honda is thirsty on every circuit, that is the problem.

Long run pace did not seem terrible yesterday. I don't think the other teams will be able to jump them on track if Alonso has track position. He should run in clean air in P7, while anyone trying to follow will destroy their tyres on what already is a high degradation circuit.
