The C-class wagon (as before) is the medical car.

The newly styled SL somehow looks more... erm... Merc-isn. Reminds me of this one:

As far as I can remember, the medical car has always been a stationwagon.

Hehe I was looking at it at work with a colleague and we were immediately wondering whether the lights would fit in the car when the roof is retracted :D
Anyway, while reading further in our news, I noticed they have removed all mechanical elements that allow the roof to be opened, so in effect the new SC is a convertible with a fixed roof ;)

I actually wonder... how would a DTM C-class compare to this new safety car?

Erm... Correct me if i'm wrong but I thought modern DTM cars were nothing like their 'road versions'. I mean just proto-like racecars with C-class/A4/TT/Astra/Vectra-looking carbon 'shell'. Like the Renault Megane Trophy. So the reasemblence is just visual and the performance should differ dramatically.

Like drag racing Funny Cars or NASCAR's???

And I now see that it was the medical car that I was looking at.
