I would not bet on any major Honda PU upgrades at Canada.(lust little things and another step with mapping)
What about Silverstone ?
When it comes to 💻 science 💫, what I much about it 💢 is analyzing the 📉 📊 👌.

Canada has already been said by Honda. It's tight so if they miss Canada then it'll be the next race, Baku.

Monaco for the second part of the McLaren Aero/Chassis upgrades.

Too late if they want to retain Alonso for 2018. I think Alonso will decide his future before the summer break.

Really hope Honda is working on 2018 PU as well !!!!
2018 PU should have the same architecture as 2017, so it is not bother me at all. Push 2017 engine development to the limit!
I agree with same architecture, but think it imperative they start work on a parallel program for 2018 to ensure reliability. Half the year is basically gone. They MUST start 2018 doing 120 + laps EVERY day of testing. Otherwise another year wasted.
They started that some months ago, it´s the 2017 PU

There´s no mayor changes for next season, so this PU is the base for next season PU.

What days of testing?

There´s no proper testing, so it´s a much better option to use 2017 GPs as testing to develop, evolve and improve the PU so there´s some chance next season they can be somewhat competitive.

Also, how are you going to work on 2018 PU if the base is not properly developed yet? Before improving something you must first know what to improve. You cannot work on next season PU before solving 2017 PU problems, at least if you don´t want to start from scratch, wich I hope is not the case as that´s what they did this 17 season so starting from scratch again would mean they failed miserably in 2017... again. I hope that´s not the case, so I expect them to develop 2017 PU during the whole season, and continue that development next season

Disappointed that Mclaren haven't done a limited edition Button team shirt for this weekend 🙁
Favourite driver: Lando Norris
Favourite team: McLaren

Turned down the chance to meet Vettel at Silverstone in 2007. He was a test driver at the time and I didn't think it was worth queuing!! 🤦🏻‍♂️

Those valuable 8 days of testing at Barcelona before the season starts.

I am not saying they must develop a new PU. Surely they would know what their development schedule is for the remainder of 2017 and based on that they start working on 2018 ideas and start development and testing early enough and not repeat this year's nightmare.

I am sure Hasegawa said that the fundamental and basic design is good, and that they can and will use it in the future.

I think they will try to catch up front teams and if they could make it 20-30 Hp I think they concentrate on ERS. It's said that merc is efficienct 50% at ers. İf someone can do better job and can use longer mgu-k support it means extra 160 Hp for over extra seconds.

Renault Sport F1 boss Cyril Abiteboul:
"We already have a very clear idea of next year's engine and the aim we have is to completely close the gap in the course of next season."
Honda should be ahead of this if they want a good 2018.
