Everybody here talked about FER and how many components they changed in this first part of the season but at then end the first one to have grid penalty is MERC. Receive 10 grid penalty in two races is quite alarming. I hope the new gear last longer.

Hold on there is 20-30 grid penalties coming for Ferrari very soon...keep patience

Mercedes over a tyre Delta ahead?

I can see no reason for Ferrari to now be keeping any time in their pocket. In fact if I'm Ferrari I'm looking over my shoulder at Red Bull who are closer than they have been in previous races and are also on the slower tyre.

vettell fastest in sector 1, 2 and went wide in sector 3 .032 back after losing at least a couple tenths going wide... this is a competition not a mercedes cakewalk like some of you seem to assume

Hamilton on his best lap in FP3 wasn't close to being flat trough copse, so that's pretty much over on that front.

So that`s why Bottas spend most of the time on the medium tyre ... he should be doing a one stop race on Sunday having a S-M strategy contrary to the most drivers doing a 2 stop (at least Vestappen said that) with a SS-S-S race ...

- Doubt it, both reasons and viability of such strategy and tyres combination, but we'll see.
- For those hoping for it in vain: three way fight is slightly delayed .

No way a one stop is possible, the medium tire is just too slow. It's going to be SS inter, and soft. Not necessarily in that order but definite two stop.

Key to the race will be reading the conditions and pitting at the right moment.
