If the FIA continues it's "not meddle in the WDC" line when it comes to penalties he should be fine ... would be a damn shame to lose pole after that incredible lap

I'd love to see Alonso's sector times from Q2 i wonder whether he lifted so he wouldn't throw Vandoorne out of Q3, given that he'll drop 30 places anyways or whether Stoffel was legitimately 0.5s quicker than Nando.
What I was thinking too
If it was done, it was a smart thing to do. Vandoorne starts 8th which is very good.
If i would get the money to start my own F1 team, i would revive Arrows

Let's see if HAM will be punished as VET has been (10 secs stop and Go and 3 points on the driver licence).

Hamilton and Vettel confirm not flat through Copse but they are flat through Maggots, Becketts and Chapel. That's impressive!

If only Vettel would keep his mouth shut? Maybe he doesn't like being outqualified by his teammate? Why does he always act like a petulant child on the radio? Good to see Ferrari up there, should make for a good race tomorrow.

Hamilton did his thing today and that was it. Vettel didn't have any new SS for his lap Q3 lap, I'm not sure what was going on there with ferrari.

Looked like a pretty nailed on penalty. Mercedes seem dedicated to making at least one stupid mistake every weekend.

A bit of a miscalculation, particularly given that they started with so many sets.
The difference in the number available to him and Raikkonen might be because he flat spotted a set with a spin early in FP1, but you'd have thought they'd adjust the set-up programme accordingly.

Ferrari had nine sets this weekend. Not having a spare set put aside for the closing seconds of Q1 seems paticularly crazy :(

1.26.6 what was that ? Incredible speed and balance through the fast corner of the S2 and the S3 with the slow chicane. What a drive
