Obviously some hamilton fans are so buthurt by the fact that he needs team orders every step of the way.
If anyone wants to read a truck load of BS, read above.

Maybe they should stop for a second and think about how many points Mercedes drivers would have if Bottas played it safe in Spain and saved his car instead of fighting Hamilton's battles.
He was using an old engine, running the risk of going it pop, after his new ICE had issues and had to revert. He had a damaged car with the start issue and he was doing what he was supposed to do (he did fought Hamilton hard in Monza last year, that helped Nico immensely, Verstappen held Hamilton in Australia this year that helped Vettel win the race).
To play it safe, he had to run a compromised PU to finish the race. But go and ask any driver, would they want to do it? Drivers would prefer to take the risk of an engine failure, fight the driver behind, but wouldn't want to simply hang back. The situation was so reminiscent of 2015 Monza.

Even last race he was driving damaged car just to try to keep Vettel from winning, even though gearbox penalty was certain.
Except you in your imagination, no one would have known if Bottas was going to have a Gear Box issue. So, stop attributing junk credit to Bottas here. More than anyone else, Bottas himself needed that win and holding Vettel behind was a byproduct of that situation. No favor done to anyone.
2 facts:
-in spain Bottas fought Hamilton's battle and paid the price.
-in Austria Bottas had damaged gearbox from Baku

Wow, what a massive --- up by Ferrari - how do you manage to miscalculate tire life that badly?

What's mega about driving the fastest car in clear air for the entire race? He more or less was in cruise control. Made no mistakes and did his job.

RIC had a mega drive.

Pirelli made out of crap again
I don't think this had anything to do with Pirellis failing unexpectedly - I think this was just Ferrari running them on the limit.

RedBull clearly thought that they were on the limit too - or they wouldn't have pitted Verstappen. They even said over the radio that they were concerned about exactly what happened to the Ferraris.

He did - I don't think we can possibly under-rate VER's defence against VET too.

Bottas did more laps with a heavier car tho. The tires are just inconsistent or can't handle a couple of laps of overtaking moves.

RAI confirmed in the driver's room - no debris - just exploded. I think Ferrari just ran them right on the absolute limit of what they could do.

Bottas did those laps in a different car though. The fact that both Ferraris had the exact same failure at pretty much the exact same point in the stint says to me that that's just the limit of what those tires can do on that car.

The fact that other teams were concerned about their life backs that up.

I agree Vestapen's defense was exceptional.

Lewis' s drive was mega for the whole weekend.

Vettel is losing the nerve game in this championship.
If i would get the money to start my own F1 team, i would revive Arrows
