WoW.

I am personally an Alonso fan but I must say that after todays race I really was able to see where Ferrari is really at.

In the Australian GP we saw Hamilton dominate but the track at the Australian GP doesnt really show the true colors of the cars.

I dont know if you guys saw today the tripe parellel straight away matchup between Alonso and 2 others, you could see the Renault being smoked, even though I dont know what the levels of carburant where.

FERRARI I predict is going to dominate this year and behind then I am guessing Mcclaren followed by either renault or red bull.

Did you guys see and agree with this?

Yes, I'm a McLaren fan myself, and I'm also certain that Ferrari will dominate, but that isn't going to make me change team.

I think it will be:

- Ferrari
- McLaren
- BMW
- Red Bull

I agree with you but I think that we will see a big competition between BMW, Red Bull and Renault and even maybe WIlliams? I can expect Alonso to put a fight I am sure of that and the car looks like its pretty unstable from the race today...

I go with

Ferrari
McClaren
Red Bull

Renault/BMW/Williams

Being on front row makes a huge difference on getting that initial lead and being able to drive relatively uninhibited. McLarens may have done a lot better if they had been 2nd row, but then again Hamilton was really beating the crap out of his tires.

BMW also in excellent form I think.

That said.. Ferrari is damn quick.

Ferrari is in top form. It seems they have corrected the problems they and last weekend. Kimi is just amazing to watch.

I would have also liked to seen Mclaren up on the grid but the Penalty really hurt them. It would have been an interesting battle between Ferrari and Mclaren.

Hamilton was really pushing hard but the right brake was really giving him problems and he just could not get around Weber to get that clean air. I am also really happy to see how well Kovalainen is doing, the young Finn is really living up to his expectations.

Did you see how much brake dust came out of Hamiltons front tires?

I would have been happier if Renault would have given a tough fight to ferrari and Mclaren. Even I'm a Fernando fan. But I dobt Renault can be in the top 5 teams as Red Bull, BMw and Toyota are looking more promising than Renault.

Though I wish for a stronger comeback by Renault very soon. [-o<

It's too early after only 2 races but I think BMW have made a significant progress from what they were during the winter test period. And continue to improve, as we see from today's race. They already have comparable single lap pace and need to gain in race pace/tire usage and preservation.
Initially I also thought they had made a step backward but now I put them 3-rd and won't be surprised if even they challenge for second.

BMW is my favorite team and I said last year after I saw how well they did that this year they would be even better.

I actually missed that but I could tell that he was definately pushing his tires. It seems the McClaren is a little "nervous"? (unstable??) It is definately too early to see that kind of thing but... or maybe Hamilton was just pushing himself.
