You said to someone he has not seen the contract, but you didn´t either, so statements from McLaren and Honda are our only sources of inside information. Those sources say McLaren will use Honda PU next year, so when you reply to someone saying he´s an ignorant because of saying this you´re simply demostrating how arrogant you are

So, here's a thing. I was discussing the ongoing McLaren/Honda/Renault/ToroRosso engine saga with a very senior figure on Friday and the conversation ended with them suggesting that it was quite likely that in the end everything would stay the same as now.

Vettel on a 3 year Ferrari deal. Alonso's options are as good as gone. Talk of Williams but their chassis ain't delivering this year, next year a risk and would they be ahead of McLaren in 2018?

Alonso will sign for another year and Honda will stay with McLaren.

Stop pretending you've seen the contract and don't be so naive to think there won't be stipulations about performance in it.

They'll be partnered next year. It was made certain when Toro Rosso talks collapsed. That interview Hasegawa even said it was discussions with no formal talk occurring. FIA want Honda in F1. If McLaren cancel the contract it will remove Honda. Doesn't take a genius to figure out unless there's a second team for Honda to supply, their future is pretty much already written.

Next years car will be the first Paddy Lowe car, they shouldnt be underestimated because of that.
