Minardi loses sponsor

Minardi lost their main sponsor. They didn't pay minardi after minardi drove in the british GP without any sponsor logos, just the text johnnie boy, with the heart, which made me laugh, because the guy had died of heart attack. You minardi fools.
Anyway, great going from Stoddardt, the blackmailing greedy bastard. The poorest team on the grid can afford to drive without sponsors.
I have nothing but sympathy for minardi, but Stoddardt pisses me off, he's just in F1 to make money. It's just an investment for him. Hence the continuous pleading for money and blackmailing. He could do his begging behind the scenes and not go public with everything.
And don't tell me he has to whine publically about their money problems, otherwise they won't get any money. Things could be made a little more subtly, his style just doesn't fit F1. Go carts would be more his field.

I've never been a stoddart fan either. I'm jut baffled how minardi have been in the bottom for so long. what happened to the roller coaster ride with all the ups and downs that is F1? Even jordan was once a title contender in the not too distant past

Sorry guys I think you are missing the point here. What Minardi did in removing the sponsorship logos was a great tribute to John Walton and Wilux should have publically supported them. In fact I would have thought much more of Wilux by doing this. Now I will never support Wilux or purchase any of their products. Minardi did the right thing.

I actually agree with all of you.

I dont like Paul Stoddarts whining, he needs to employ some people and design a car otherwise go home, they really are a waste of fuel at the moment. I cant believe that any graduate looking for their big break woudl turn Minardi down so there is engineering talent to be had if you look for it and i believe that is what they are missing.

I used to admire Minardi for trying so hard but i think Paul is now ruining the sport by doing stupid things like withdrawing from qualifying because they may re-introduce the 107% rule.

On the Wiluz side i agree with OZ totally, Vodaphone & Malboro wouldnt (and i think i remember, didnt) leave ferarri if they ran a bare red car. The problem is that money gets in the way of decency and respect, seems to be sending the whole sport down the pan.

Stoddart didn't approach this situation brightly. Look at Ferrari when they paid tribute - black bands or black noses cones, but still they maintained sponsors to not falter on any deals. Smart. Wilux - well they're a bunch of crying sux, and I can't believe they making such a big deal.
